This is a good product at a good price. Easy to purchase online and easy to download. Updates with tax law changes keep the package current. Use of prior year data and ability to import data from other institutions a great time saver. Helped me find tax credits that I would have overlooked.

Everything OK except Foreign Tax Credit = 0

My 1099-DIV with 5 mutual funds listed a foreign tax credit (box 7) for 1 fund and 0 for the other 4.
I entered "0" for the other four. The software treated the 0 as legal value and kept asking which country. The software should check for 0 or blank and not ask for country.

The H&R Block Deluxe edition this year made doing taxes a breeze. The software allowed me to backup a copy of my return. Also I recommend using the brand to calculate deductions and credits if you're claiming them on your return.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
