Great product but screen font sizes are too small

Great product but screens are hard to read for someone getting a bit older. You may want to consider that people over 50 cannot easily read the small type fonts on your screen pages. Maybe an over-50 product with larger screen fonts?
Really liked being able to take a picture of my W-2 on my phone! Typing in all those many numbers — without making a mistake — was the worst part of doing my taxes. You made that go away.

I've used your software for over 10 years and have had only one problem ... last year, no matter what we tried, we were unable to file our return electronically ... we had to submit a paper return which then took approximately a month to receive a refund. That was the only time (and we hope the last) this has happened. This year's tax returns went through smoothly like all the other years and both the Fed and State have already accepted them ...
hence the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
Keep up the good work ... the interview is very thorough and many other questions we have had in the past have been answered satisfactorily within the software without having to go any further.

Has a few bugs

the software kept checking an excess accumulations of an retirement account when I am not even of age where that is a factor. I could not un check it. Also when payments were due the Federal went through ok but there are problems with the state (MI) .
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have used Tax Cut for the past 15 years...would never use any other. All information needed is provided in an easy to use form. Don't make any changes!! "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

I have used Tax Cut probably since it was first put on the market. It works well for me. The only problem I had this time was getting the status page to show after the efile was accepted by the IRS. I had to resubmit the efile, as directed in a help file, and that solved the problem. I also used the CO state program because the free on-line Colorado program is not user friendly.

Well worth the money! Step by Step instructions PLUS you can call and speak to a live representative for issues you may have stubbled upon. Having BOTH the State and Federal taxes together in one software package, saves you from re-entering all info over again. The software takes info put in from Federal and inserts it into the State. The software also allows for a backup so next year, names ,addresses, social security numbers, etc. are automatically inserted in your present taxes , if you you wish so, saving a ton of time. Again, H&R Block software pays for itself in time AND saving you money.
