This software is extremely easy to use. I have used this for over 10 years for Federal and State reporting. The preparation, accuracy reviews prior to filing are excellent. Subsequent year uses data from the prior to speed preparation and downloading periodic software updates are easy as well. Forms are displayed easily and the preparation using interview questions make it easy for first time filers. I highly recommend this software!

The tax program downloaded and installed without any problems and was ready to go. Details from previous year were imported and easily edited as necessary. Step by step questions were clear and allowed for updates or addition of new forms or status changes. In a short time span I was done with my initial run. I did a second run of the process with a new file name to verify my results (they were the same) and I was ready to e-file my Federal return.
I then downloaded my state tax program and ran through it twice. The state program was even quicker than the Federal. I chose to paper file my state return as a state e-file, for me, is too expensive. Overall, the tax program I used (H&R Block Deluxe + State) is excellent for my tax status and I will likely use it again.

I found HR Block Deluxe software more comprehensive than Turbo Tax and much easier to use. I prepare 4-5 returns each year and it has handled all situations correctly with only one exception. That is a great track record considering I have been using it for nearly 20 years.

I always choose H&R Block every tax season. It is easy to use and walks you through every step just like a pro. Definitely worth buying!

I have used H&R Block Deluxe + State for many years. It is so much easier and faster than trying to use paper forms, instructions, and manual calculations. Federal tax information is automatically copied into my State files. Information from last years filing is automatically copied into the new year tax files. The efile is great.
