I have used this product for several years. Last year it misdirected me on an IRA required withdrawal and waiver request. Still arguing with the IRS over that one. This year I discovered that when using the standard deduction it would not allow me to enter deductions that I could use on my state return. If the program allows then it is not very clear. Think I will go back to a competitor next year.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

Overall very thorough, but I was confused by the section on reporting tax deductions for personal property / car registrations and review / amend the return based on the warning messages. Need to update the navigation / task bar to make it more intuitive.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

I have used this software for several years with E-filing of my Federal return.
Just recently filed Electronically for my State Tax Return for the first time and had great results. Both State and Federal returns, were prepared, filed and then received my return all in a 2-week time frame!

Have used H&R Block for quite a few years. Tried Tax Act once did not like it at all. Came back to the tax software that can be trusted. If you make a mistake it will let you know.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
