I have used Hand R Block since 2007,and have never had an issue.In 2009 I tried Turbo Tax,which is not as accurate as Block,I put some income in the wrong place,and got a letter from the IRS.That was the first and last time I used Turbo tax.I do my whole family's taxes.I really like that when I start a new return,it transfers last years tax information,which makaes the whole process less time consuming.

wasn't too impressed, too hard to close don't like doing reviews will probably use turbo tax next year.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

The software was easy to use. There were explanations available at every step, and my return was slightly larger than I found using a free version of another national brand. I did not get continuous offers to upgrade versions and it was simple to add state e-file at the end.

Was easy to use, but, e-file failed. e-file was rejected because of program error. E-filed 02/03/20, now have to wait until 02/14/20 for next update, then try to e-file again. Frustrating.
