the program is easy to use whether you have experience and wish to go directly to forms you need, or need to go step by step with the program prompting you.

The interview process for completing the forms went well and easy to follow. However, when I needed help, the process with online help was not helpful. Also, when errors were indicated, the onscreen pointing to the errors and what was wrong and how to fix them was not helpful. Part of the problem was in the software telling me what was expected and part of it was in the W2 that I had received.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

My wife's income is legitimately exempt from fed income tax because of her caregiver status. Zero dollars in Block 1 on W2. However, your software Deluxe would not allow electronic filing. Also, a call to one of your reps yielded the same answer. There is not much need for me to purchase your software as I could do a pencil and paper submission to the IRS at no cost and not have to enter so much info that is not seen with a paper copy. Would be nice to be able to file electronically under these circumstances.
Pros: Easy to prepare
