Have used H&R fir many years it pulls forward the prior yeArs return info so you only have to update with new data. Simple and easy.
Incl federal e- filing. And small fee to e file the state

Overall excellent, but it's still TAXES.

In past years I've used the CD to install the program and as I remember it went smoother. Much of the current program uses rather small print, which is a problem for many of us seniors. I also had some problems locating the prompt to continue and ended up in a revolving circle for awhile.Overall a very good program, but it's still a bit mind numbing.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Same good interview format, but glitchy program

Have used HR Block for many years, always a good interview format -- but this year it's glitchy. When I went to print and selected "save as .pdf" it crashed the program. Unfortunately it had not auto saved the State portion so had to totally re-enter. But worse, when all done, I had to pay a bit more (not a problem), went through the bank debit, it accepted it and filed .... but then at the very end it had a different amount owed by one dollar! So this year I have to rate the reliability and accuracy as poor.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
