I have used H&R Block Deluxe/State for many years. Have always found it to be easy to input required tax information.

The edits indicating errors are terrible. Program wouldn't let me continue and edit didn't tell me what was wrong. Also let me file when there was an important update that girl didn't do.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've use H&R Block's Tax Cut for the last 21 years. This is the first year, that while the calculations appeared to be accurate, the software appeared to have stability issues. Saving files to a network share to be specific as well as the system not remembering the last return that was worked on.

Easy to use. Walks you thru every steps. Shows when you make a mistake. It also gives you 5 free filings and and sends you an email if you file electronically. Would not use anything else.
