Early filer here (1/31)— program still buggy on smoothly updating (not issue of firewall). Accessing program from root folder enables updates; accessing opening program from other locations (desktop shortcut or start menu does not). Filed fed return but was disappointed that was unable to file the state return on 2/1; told to check back on about 2/7. Wanted to get it all done at once and can’t. Not sure if TurboTax has the same issue or not. Otherwise, both programs are similar. Would like a screen button to more easily concurrently view the actual tax form while in interview mode.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Been using this product for years. Always a "time saver". Never had any issues after filing Federal & State returns. Refunds and payments were seamless. Excellent tax support built into program-never had to use live support yet even though it is always offered.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I've used H&R Block software for several years. The software is easy to use and the necessary forms are auto filled. The help function is very helpful also.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have always used H&R Block Deluxe.

I received the CD in the mail, installed it after paying the cost of the application.
I started ym taxes and my duagters. It works as expected. The only draw-back is that my Federal taxes were rejected because of it not liking my IPPIN. Resubmitted a few more times with the same result, but now if I tried the software states I've exceeded my 5 free e-files. Now I have to sned it through the mail. This is why the 4 stars. I would have given the 5.
