normally give a 5 but not this year. is a program that anyone can understand. easy to use. need to fix the handler though. i had my taxes saved and all of a sudden after efile transmission the program wont let me into my t19 file. i copied the file to the program and it said it wasn't an HR block file. i had done nothing to this file but try to open it. i did get an email stating that my taxes were submitted but had to go online with fed and state to see if they were being processed because i couldn't get into the file to see if the taxes were accepted and got no verification code they were submitted. Federal i saw they were being processed same day, state i had to wait 4 days. disappointed at the loss of the data within the file cause i will have to manually do everything next year.

Not bad tax software

Wasn't hard to use. Some of the "paths" to enter the data seemed a bit roundabout. Would be easier if the entry forms were laid out graphically like the standard tax forms (W2, 1099, etc). Switched from TurboTax to Block 2 years ago since Turbo provided state taxes but not Schedule D, while Block provides Schedule D but not state. I can always do state taxes by hand.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
