I can sit at home and do my taxes. But, I do have on problem. We used the Duplex. It says one state free. But, that is only if you mail it in. We always e-file. Free should free either way you file.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

State Filing Issues

Everything went fine until my OH state return was rejected. E-file issue with your software. Was supposed to be updated by 01-30 but was not. Waiting for the 02-07 update now delaying my return. Not happy!
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This year I had my first problem with the program. It sent all my RRB 1099 info into
the general 1099 R forms which when checking kept asking for a code in Box 7 and
there are no Box 7 codes in the RRB forms and I could not clear this before filing.
Also it did not transfer my AGI from previous year to the new form.

I've been using H&R Block for years and would never consider the other guys. I know exactly what I need to enter and how to answer the questions provided. Simple, easy to use and powerful!
