I have used H&R Block Tax Cut for over Ten years, very happy with features and interface. Buy One Program and File Federal Forms Free for up to 5 times, I have two others in family that use ths to file each year, works fir everyone for one fee.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Not as Good as Before...

I have been a satisfied user of HR Block software for several years, but this year's version just doesn't meet expectations! First it would not load on mu new Mac because of incompatibility with the 64 bit operating system. I had to do my taxes on my old Mac.
And then it would not let me e-file until I corrected an error on Schedule E - I have nothing to report on Schedule E so I had to delete this form just to e-file.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Did basic federal and state in 2 hours or less, and then e-filed. It asked tons more questions than I needed to answer, but I got past them very quickly.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Step by step instructions,easily import last years return-very simple to get the job done accurately and quickly.When finished,has an audit risk assessment! So much better than paying someone to do your taxes by enabling you to do it yourself and save money!

Was more difficult than necessary when I tried to amend prior years' taxes (for which I had Block software). Interviews and Instructions were poorly written and incomplete. I had to google IRS to find out where to mail them after I finally figured out how to complete the forms. I have an MBA and must need a Doctorate Degree to use this part of their software!!!!!
