Been using H&R for about 10 years, never had a problem...….until this year. While the product is still wonderful and I didn't have a problem until it came time to check the status.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Federal + State Does NOT actually include State

E-filing is an additional charge that will be presented after you have completed all the work necessary to file your taxes. The State part of Federal and State is state software. In the event you have multiple states, you will pay for software and filing for each, each time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
