Cloudy interview questions and errors in transport

This is the third year I used H & R Block tax preparation. Firstly, the interview part needs to be clearer in laymen’s language on what the program is asking. Second the program did not import my state pension with my other 1099-R accounts. Resulting in me erroneously e-filing with too large a refund. After reviewing the questionare for at least he 10th time, I found the mistake and re-did my taxes and corrected the error. But then to correct the erroneous e-file, I had to fill out a 1040-X form, which is not an easy task moving figures from the 1040 form over. I could only do that with help of a friend who is a retired accountant. Now I have to find out if I should wait until the refund is deposited into my checking account, then file the 1040-X form with a check.
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

RMD reporting is wrong and needs correcting.

Have used H&R Block Taxcut for years but this year when reporting my RMD, the software incorrectly claimed I had excess contributions and had not taken out correct RMD.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using for 10 years, so I won't be changing, altough I feel like the improvements to the software year-over-year are not great. I'm not sure I'd recommend to someone just getting into using software to assist with tax filing.

Program needs to be updated. Font size is to small and no way to scale it to a larger size without changing windows setting and doing that screws up other things on my display.

used other tax software in the past. HR Block software is easier to navigate. it is also easier to fill out information with step by step instructions.
