Very disappointed with Block this year, the updates to the program are very poor, have been waiting over a month now for one small form to be updated so I can file my taxes. Turbo Tax already has this form available on their program, but not Block. Doesn't make any since. I will not be using Block's programs in future years
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to install and use on my laptop. Like that it populates many fields with relevant info from the previous year. It walks you through the process of federal and state taxes clearly and efficiently. I am aggravated that they require you to pay extra in advance to be able to re-download the program a few years down the line should it become necessary. T

Way do have to pay money to down load my State. It's not right.

It does exactly what I expect it to do. We do have some investments, but our return is still fairly simple - we claim the standard deduction. But being able to import 1099s and W2s and have Block fill in the appropriate lines is great.
