I've been using H&R Block's Deluxe Software for over 20 years. It is my go-to tax program. It gives you 5 federal tax returns and a state income tax program. The price is reasonable and it provide all the schedules most people need. I find it ease to use also; never had a problem with it The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there is a charge to efile your state return.

Follow the step by step instructions and you're done.
It even downloads 1099 info from banks and brokerages. Those with many transactions will find this a huge time and effort saver.

I purchased the software. It works fine. The only confusing part is at the end with the required minimum distribution and the recovery period money it’s very confusing. I had to read it two or three times and I still don’t understand what I’m really supposed to do. I just guessed and put the put my withdrawal amount in one hole and then my RMD in another hole and hopefully it works out.
