Easy step by step program. Only downside CANNOT print out 1040 by itself for my file. Will print out, but adds other processes with it. My printer prints last page first, so cannot remove paper after printing 1040
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Fairly easy to follow However did not like the printing. IT PRINTED ONLY ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE PAGE AND MUCH SMALLER PRINT And no instructions how to fix it.

It worked as advertised and the Q&A section is good. It would be better if it had more details in the 1099-R section around the ROTH conversion area. I had to turn to the internet to find some answers about what is considered the CONVERTED about, the amount actually moved into the ROTH after taxes or the amount of the IRA total withdrawal that was headed to the ROTH but some went to Federal and State Taxes. It would be nice to see a paragraph or two in that section describing what to choose and when. I even went to the forms to see if that helped finally the internet helped me more than the software. Also one free state file should be included. I don't need extra federal free efiles but could use a state efile as part of the software.

Cons: Hard to prepare

I hardly think that 'Deluxe' is appropriate.

I owed 2K, then I went tp AI help- forget aabout. Ran it again and owed 4k. Coulde not find error and in many cases, could not find pages previously seen.. For the third time, was not given chance to enter estimated taxes paid. Finally found it with asearch for 1040 EST and I now am owed 2K. Also, If the program is supposed to aid me in estimated taxes for 2026, why does it ask for estimated tax amounts?
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
