Basically all you have yo do is answerer the questions. It simple enough that an 87 year old man (me) had no problems with it.

Bought the Federal and State. Software gets better each year. State should come with one free e-file as well. HR fails to realize the cost of customer acquisition. At age 80, I need to watch every penny. That said, if someone else offers 1 free Fed and State efile, I'm gone.

I kind of backed into trying this software. I switched over from Turbo Tax when that company decided not to let me use their software unless and until I bought a new computer capable of using Windows 11. I found the H&R software just as easy to use and it worked fine on Windows 10. I finished my taxes in less time than it would have taken me to learn Windows 11.

I’m exasperated with this year’s software.. I never had more trouble before (I have done my taxes with your software for the last three to four years..),This years version was hard to troubleshoot and without a real person to talk to about issues..unbearable.. I have had to make an appointment for a tax professional to help me out of this mess
