pay very close attention

I efiled both my federal and state taxes together a week ago. My federal was approved the next day, my state is still pending. After a couple days pending, I investigated why my state return might be pending and noticed that the refund amount shown on the state efile summary had a DIFFERENT amount than my printed return. I am currently waiting for the state to reject my state return so I can refile. Not a happy camper, and no idea how this happened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ok Software

This software was decent for the price, but the part for 'Excess Accumulation' was clear as mud. The instructions seem to have been written by a lawyer - very hard to understand. My RMD kept getting doubled causing a 'Penalty' to be applied. Following the instructions and help topics was difficult. I finally figured out what I did wrong. I've been using this software for 25 years and this was the first time I've had any problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It needs a little regarding US savings bond interest which is typically not taxable on state returns. Basically not very clear. Federal works very good.

BEST tax software ever

Extremely easy to use, as always
As I have suggested for many years, I would like to have free e-filing of both federal and state returns to be included in the software.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

the software has major problems. they do not give any advice as when the plan to fix it. turbo tax also has this problem but problem with qmid code daikinlan to fix it in next update. I will use turbo tax next year.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

CRAZY ISSUES

I don't know what is the problem but the messages coming back are late and confusing. I filed a return on Jan 28 and received a Return Accepted on the HR desktop program. It was several days later that i received an email with the Return accepted message. The Ohio tax return was rejected. Waiting several days, I resubmitted the Ohio return. It was again rejected. The reason from the HR program was "we're unable to file your Federal Return". Not only did I get an email rejection but again two additional emails that the Federal Return was accepted when it wasn't refiled on an attempt to file the Ohio return. I am totally confused as to how the Ohio rejects becsuse it can't file a federal return yet the federal return was filed and accepted. I checked directly with the IRS to check on the refund, and the return was accepted and the refund was approved. Something is definately wrong with the software with multiple federal acceptance emails when not refiled and unreasonable rejection about the federal return. Can you please explain this or correct the issues.

Excellent software

Excellent software. No issues except when I filed on Monday at 6 pm, I got my confirming E mail on Wednesday at 6:45 pm. Same with the IRS accepting my return. They accepted my return on Monday and I got an e mail at 6:45 pm on Wednesday. In all the past years, I would get an e mail one minute after I filed it and one minute after the IRS accepted my return. Your e mail is behind.
