Really wish there was a way to recover the program after installation on a computer which subsequently died.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

The software wasn't user friendly regarding the RMD for IRA withdrawals. The interview was not accurate with the questions asking about the withdrawal. It never asked the basic question, did you withdraw the amount you were required to?
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Product

I have used this software for several years. Overall, I am happy with it's performance. However, they are extremely slow in sending email notifications.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Serious concern re CT State accuracy

The CT State SS Benefits Adjustment benefit calculation differs (unfavorably) from the Official CT State Tax website. Yet, I have been unable to obtain an explanation from HR-Block explaining the difference.

Some Issues and Problems this Year

I have always used Block software and in fact, in the 90'S I worked for Block part time. I have never had any issues with the software and it always preformed well. Until this year. I submitted my return to the IRS using Block Deluxe software successfully and the IRS let me know that it was successful by checking "Where"s My Return". After 2 days, I finally received my Block messages that the IRS accepted my return and that Block submitted it .... The first message said that it was accepted and the second said that it was sent to the IRS. Totally out of sequence messages. Twice I have had to restart my computer to recognize an IRS Block update, because otherwise, the Block software just went into a closed loop asking me to continually accept the update ... an update that I already put on the software. It has made me very suspicious of the software readability. Last item, it asked me to pay for a state download even though I had a free state download with the Deluxe software ... these are not IRS tax issues, but Block software issues ... which makes me think the software didn't go thru proper or complete code and customer checking
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Taxes made easy
