I filed the form provided for my 2024 DC Income Tax in a way that was approved by your software and paid the taxes due. But about a month a half later I was billed by the DC government for 375.70 because I did not pay a enough estimated taxes for 2024, I had to pay a penalty as well as interest in the unpaid balance. I believe that you ought to have warned me about that so that I could have paid all the taxes I owed DD can would not have to incur this unexpected expense.

I have used H&R Block tax software for ten years now and I have been satisfied with the results. Although this year I had a question that no one would answer. Last summer we did a remodel of our home. In the process mold was found in several places and had a direct effect on the cost of the remodel. Mold is a health hazard and I wanted to know if I could claim those costs as medical expenses. I filed without claiming those expenses because I couldn't get an answer.
