I've used the H&R Block tax software for many years. This time the wrap-up Validation/Verification (at completion) seemed full of irrelevant data checks for forms I wasn't submitting -- a real waste of my time. I eventually began wondering if I wasn't being victimized by a runamok AI tool. I don't recall enduring such silliness in previous years. I may have to try TaxCut.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had difficulty with filing this year, then got a IRS letter in the mail about verification, not good. May take 9 additional weeks to get my return.

I have been using the product for many years and so feel comfortable in it and, obviously, it does the job.
I would suggest that there be available a back button, to undo the last screen if entered mistakenly as for some locations in the program this is not always available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used Block for years and now that I am older and memory sucks, explanations of tax code gets harder and harder to understand. Amortization, as an example, where it relates to taxes does not make sense to me.
