The software is constructed so it's easy to fill in income and expenses in logical groupings, while still allowing you to remain connected to the IRS forms. You always can go directly to the final forms or to worksheet-like formats so you can see how each data item is being applied. THis was especially helpful this year when COVID-related transactions could be confusing.. I found Customer Support to be easy to reach, quick to understand your issue, and prompt in getting it resolved or proving a good explanation for the specific software procedure.

Can't submit electronic. The software doesn't auto calculate return every single step as turbo tax. Browsing to certain area is not as easy as turbo tax. Browsing to form1, form2 is super confused.

I downloaded broker info with ~1000 stock trades. Program requires verification of every transaction, each triggering a "Program Not Responding" warning. Net result was at least 1/2 minute each for ~9 hours total of scrolling/clicking/waiting ... and all were correct from the broker. This was running on a workstation with Xeon processor and 16GB memory. Terrible software coding. Product support claimed there was no way to do this any faster. Have used program for 20+ years - never again

There is a strange bug - once you import a previous year's return you cannot undo the operation later in the interview process without starting a fresh return and re-importing with a different return. Ended up losing a few hours of work that way when I realized that last year's return had a mistake and I wanted to correct that before using in this year's return.
