Straight forward. Import from institutions worked great. Import from w2 pdf did not work. But it takes only 5 minutes to input so not a biggie.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

Used this s/w for many years. This it was unable to download my Charles Schwab tax info. Had no trouble with other investment firm downloads. Very disappointing.

We had to puzzle over things, and guess on some, because the program wasn't clear. Also, it didn't import last year's information, which is part of the reason we stuck with it.
All in all a frustrating experience.

I have used H&R Block tax preparation software for years. It is very easy to use, and guides you through your tax return. It brings up questions about deductions that you might overlook. Everything from the federal return transfers over to the state return. The whole process is seamless and efficient. I definitely would recommend using H&R Block tax preparation software to prepare your next tax return!
