H&R Block Deluxe is a very good income tax software program for a reasonable price. It is comprehensive and yet, it's easy to use. It contained helpful information to insure we got every legitimate deduction that we deserved.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

mostly good, but I had trouble with form K-1,I felt lost. I sold this security and then it got a lot worse there was no support at all. I had no clue what to do and no where to go to find the correct way.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

For the same price, it's hard to beat H&R. Satisfies 90% of my requirements. Schedule K-1 is one area could see some improvements. Instead of long paragraph of text which caused confusion on what to do, more interview-style questions are preferred. Also, comparison against previous tax year's return like the competitors' software would also help to spot discrepancies.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I found it more difficult to use than others. I would NOT use again if I had other options. Bought software that was to have one state filing and still had to pay for another state filling then had another fee that had to be paid.
Had problem with software and called tech support to resolve they could not resolve it. I had to accidently figure it out so state tax could be sent.
Not happy with product.

Complete tax solution which accommodates single and multiple wage-earner families as well as simple LLC business owners. Expert and responsive on-line help, which I have leveraged on a few occasions. Carries information from Federal return to State without issue. Very close to perfect if it had the ability to combine two Married Filing Separate returns into one Married Filing Joint return, but I don't believe other competitor programs have this feature either - would be a huge time saver for doing what-if filing scenarios.
