Not perfect, but a good value compared to using a tax preparer. Auto filled the state in a block that was for numbers and told me to correct my entry. Did the math okay, but needs better explanations especially regarding final checks. Has a chat function which is actually only a fancy FAQ page. Annoying that it does not include free e filing of state tax return.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I always purchase the Federal and State and never an issue. This year it wouldn't prepare my State and I had to purchase it all over again. Barely made deadline and got into a huge fight with spouse because they didn't believe I bought it like I said I did. Nowhere in the help, chat, phone, web, or FAQs could I find the answer. Will be canceling my subscription and use of this software, which is too bad, because I've used it since it first came out.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this product for several years and this is the first time I found so many bugs in the software. There were many items I had to fill in manually after the review, most of which should have been done during the "interview". Also, when searching for information on how to fill out form 8915-E, it simply directed me to a view of the files on my hard drive.
Pros: Easy to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you are like me and file a simple return the deluxe edition is too complex. My mistake. Next year I’ll know better. What should have been fairly quick to complete took much too long because the “interview” asked me about many things which don’t apply to my income.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
