State software did not calculate the "Best Return"

Over all software is a good experience, however the state software for Iowa did not Identify the best way to file for the biggest return. I had to override the filing status to get the best return dollars. The guaranteed best return is not true.... I had to double check this myself!!!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Software is good and easy but updates did not work for me had to download from HRblock manually each time. Both Federal and State updates. They need to fix this.

HRB apparently was not prepared to handle RMDs returned (rolled over) as per the CARES act. They had plenty of time to do so.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to prepare

The H&R Block Deluxe 2020 software was really, really good. There were still some things that were confusing or missing or in a different version or just not needed now that write offs for taxes has been limited.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
