Software works OK. Seems to capture all the requests, however it missed the AGI tie in with the IRS. Some of that may be IRS problems. HR Block support has definitely deteriorated and I ended up having to resend the state in spite of messages given in the software
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does a great job in interview mode helping to complete 1040 with ease. Also does a great job of recalling and auto-filling carry-over information from prior year's return (if you have it stored on our pc). I've used the product for ten years or so and will continue to do so.

Very good overall program. However, it needs some help in the area where the system evaluates the filing and requests changes. It is not always obvious what to do. Example was a requirement for an entry on a 1099-R form but there was nothing entered on the paper form I received. I think that I put in the right number based on comparison to another 1099-R form. In previous years I had a Schedule K-1 to deal with. The program was inadequate in handling the multiple boxes where entries, perhaps from unknown Schedules, were required and gave me multiple "errors" on the accuracy check. I always thought the feds would someday be after me for "2-figure" mistakes or omissions. I was frustrated enough to avoid partnership investments in the future. Maybe now the program is better on this. This year I was not prompted nor did not see that there was an accuracy check on the MN state program. Therefore, the program carried me all the way to electronic filing before it told me that something was missing, a legitimate error by me.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
