Software is fine but you have to read every line, whether it applies to you or not. Support stinks. Tried to call twice early in the season,was told both times there would be at least an hour wait to get to someone. Did not see a way of writing on a question and getting a written reply.

There are too many places where H&R Block sofware just dumps the user, saying unsupported. These are usually in the most complex and intricate situations where the user has the greatest need of help. It's not enough for the tax software to just function like a glorified word processor, taking numbers from the user and typing them into the form. There shouldn't be any instances that are unsupported if the H&R Block software is developed by professionals who have the best understanding of the tax requirements.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
