Deceptive advertising, dishonest business model, sold as package of Federal and State but after finishing all work in entering and preparing, once is hit with a ridiculous surcharge of 50% to file the state return
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use. Leads you through the tax process. However, if you gave a problem and need to call for help, they are horrible. Actually they solved the problem well but expect at least an hour on hold. And the holding line cuts in and out so you won’t be sure that they are still there. Fortunately I have only had to call once in 12 years.

I've been using H & R Block tax software for quite a few years. I've always found it to be accurate and appreciate the 100 support Block furnishes. When I first started using Block a number of years ago my taxes seemed a bit complicated and Block brought me through. Nowadays they are quite simple and Block is still bringing me through. I might say that before you start using the softwate, make sure you have all your documents available. This package had 5 filings and 5 e-files included.
