The program is very thorough and easy to use. The only problem I encounter (yearly) is the carryover of Indiana State and County taxes from Federal to State forms. I always have to edited the State form to get the correct credits for taxes paid.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

I have completed my Federal taxes since I started working. I became interested in more complex tax returns and signed up for a H&R Block tax course. After the course I was offered a job with a local Block office, it was my introduced to the Block software on a slow 286 computer. At the time I was completing my taxes using Parsons software. I believe that Block took over devolvement and released the H&R Block program. I have completed 100’s of returns using H&R Block software and best of all have never received a letter from the IRS.
The bottom line is that Block software is reasonably priced, allows me to not have to follow IRS tax changes and I am able to complete very complex returns by just entering the requested information with little stress. Thank you

This software is extremely easy to use. It explains everything in understandable terms and. provides the answers to all my questions. I have been using it for over ten years and have never been audited. The IRS has always accepted my returns quickly. The five free Efiles are a great feature. I filed an extension for my mother once and I have even filed my parents’ returns after their deaths.

Every year there's some sort of glitch. This year the Accuracy Review for State program prevented e-file of state return.
Cons: Hard to prepare
