In the efile area of the 2020 Deluxe Software I accidentally chose "Pay by Credit Card" instead of using the Activation code. I bought the Deluxe Software so I had 5 free efiles available under Activation Code 5CZUP-345D2. How can I be reimbursed?

Works best if you follow all the way through. If you jump around you can miss things and still pass the accuracy audit. Also came up with a data exception that it said to ignore for child care credit of zero. Interesting since we are in our late sixties and have not had dependants for a decade or more. Also said there was a slightly higher risk of audit due to some lightly specified checks that had nothing to do with our return.
It would be nice if was an easier way to compare itemized vs standard deduction and married filing jointly vs individually.
Still very worthwhile though!

If there are problems with your return that they identify but won’t tell you what the problems are, you won’t be able to ever find it, and you won’t be able to e-file. It’s a major downside to the software.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

The Arizona state software did not have one of the important forms for a charitable tax credit. Federal works fine.
