I have been using this software including its predecessor versions for almost 40 years. I have owned multiple businesses including farming. This has been the only software that includes automatic calculation of the required various forms and worksheets.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

I've used HRB tax software for over 5 years without problems. This year (2020 version), I've had multiple problems generating 4 case numbers so far and am awaiting a callback from a supervisor on an escalated case. This is terrible! Last year, tax returns for my son and us were prepared by HRB and there were no problems. Upon efiling, this year, both 2020 returns were rejected by the IRS because they claim the AGIs didn't match from 2019 - but they did! Unacceptable!

Easy to use. Step by step instructions were clear. My only complaint is that state e-filing should be free also, rather than having to re-copy all the information.

I have a rental house. When filling out the information on the rental income it stated Total Monthly Rent. I misinterpreted this to mean one months rent. I sent the return in before I realized it meant yearly rent income and I had to submit an amended form to both Federal and State. This caused me a lot of additional time and anguish! It should have said yearly rent not monthly rent. I hope you change this on next years program!
