I don't like having to spend many hours answering questions and doing research for deductions after I've already decided to take the standard deduction. It's a complete waste of my valuable time, and delayed my filing by several days.
Cons: Hard to prepare

Not including a way to purchase a second state without having to buy state edition and a state e-file feels like hidden cost exploit. At least update your state only package to include a free state e-file.

I've used for a decade plus. Easy to import previous years info and edit and put out a new tax return. Overall it is clear and relatively intuitive. The only difficulties are sometimes when you have errors, it is not always clear how to remove or correct them. A deeper set of recommendations would be a good addition. It would also be good to have more "intelligence" to review your prior year's forms and tell you if something major is missing or different.
