H&R Deluxe Tax Software makes filing taxes relatively easy and error free. I switched to it from TurboTax a few years ago when Intuit pulled a fast one and moved features from their Deluxe to the more expensive Premiere version. I haven't gone back.
Since I've been using H&R Block I haven't received any inquiries from the IRS. I also appreciate the included 5 free federal filings. I do my own, my parents' and my kids do their taxes all from the same purchase. There are a few minor annoyances with the software, primarily during the accuracy review when it keeps asking you to verify data you've already verified.
