I used to do my taxes every year by hand. It meant reading thru the 1040 instruction booklet each year. This is so simple. The software asks you the necessary questions and fills out the forms for you. The software pulls in your information from the prior year and pre-populates what it can. I find it very easy to use. I have been using this software for about 10 years. Very satisfied.

There are things lacking in the program. For instance, if you choose standard deduction, at the end it brings it up as a review problem. The program makes a suggestion then questions itself.
