The software told me to check with my tax advisor too many times when it should have known how to deal with an issue.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

Last year the program did not download forms to irs and state agency. That was odd and had me guessing for weeks.

I submitted forms by snail mail. Cost me extra. Anyhow, softeare has been helpful and cheap. I have only 1099 income. Thus my forms are uncimplicated and suitable for non-accountanr protection.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
