Very good, easy to use. Only criticism is Form 8962 (ACA) with Shared Policy Allocation, steps you out of program to fill out IRS form on your own, with no assistance from H&R Block software. Not easy to figure out on your own (20 pages of IRS instructions for a 2 page form). Think software should have stepped you through the process.
Got unexpected money back by just following the step by step instructions. I was not aware of the different levels of the standard deduction and that I could receive stimulus payment credit without getting a stimulus check. An easy $1500 back to me that I would have overlooked.
I've been using this software for years. Very intuitive a simple to use, unlike the most popular competitor's software. I would recommend this to everyone.
Easy to use, Everything is explained and you just fill in the info. Even checks for errors. I had forgotten to fill in some data and the program caught it and asked for it to be provided. I would recommend it.
Easy to use. Make sure your financial institution’s tax information can be downloaded into your return. Some institutions are not listed as participating.
Generally speaking, the software is for people with relatively simple tax situations. Folks with lots of stock trading etc. may be better off with a a tax agent. The area concerning home purchase, agent fees, points, etc. was confusing. Otherwise I found the software easy to use and worth the money saved by not going to a tax expert.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
