While I have used the product for years, I was greatly disappointed this year with the roll out of the changes/updates. When the updates occur, it is necessary to explain what was updated and how they impact the existing returns

I have a difficult time entering farm rental income and expense. The rest of the program is say to navigate and I have been using it for years. My only expense is travel to and from the farm rental property. I finally get it done but not sure it is on the right form.

Didn't get 5 stars because there are a few places where the questions are not clear. There are places where the final quality checks are hard to satisfy. These annoyances have been here every year.

A far departure from WYSIWYG; interviews clunky

Decades ago, MacInTax set the standard for how a tax program ought to work: completely WYSIWYG and free-form entry. H&R Block just gets clunkier and clunkier. The "forms" are now so cluttered with "mini-worksheets" that it's hard to find things in between them, or review the form on-screen. Entry on forms is dangerous because there seem to be bugs and missed dependencies, so basically you are forced to use the "interview" which is like going back to the days of batch processing.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
