Not a reliable program for understanding results

Recalculating is unreliable. Over riding a firm does not properly recalculate. Finding where input info in the interview is entered into the form requires going to the IRS instructions. There is not a functional tool inside the software.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

H&R Block Deluxe 2019 Software is very substandard

H&R Block Deluxe 2019 tax software is a lazier version. It fails to import all details from the prior year return, continually telling you to go refer to the 2018 return to manually import numbers it failed to import when it supposedly imported last years return. The 2019 also fails to include vital IRS info, publications, and details about IRS changes and how different category of expenses are to be handled in the 2019 return. Also missing is a logical and simple way to handle the medical subsidy underpayment or over payment; the admonition as to how to review medical premiums paid, review the amounts claimed, and how to properly handle a medical healthcare credit is unsophisticated and unintegrated. There are numerous issues encountered throughout the 2019 software. This was a really poor effort and is sufficient for me to consider switching to 2020 software that will be offered from competitors.
