Worst H&R Block software in many years. The boxes meant to provide guidance and supplementary instructions are mostly worthless. Very disappointing! I have been using your software for many years and this was your low point.

Easy to use and includes schedule C. Overall I am very satisfied. they could have pointed out tome earlier in the process that I would not be able to E-file my state taxes causing me to attempt to file both as recommended which caused the federal to not be sent. Fortunately it was an easy fix.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

This software makes tax time so much easier! Free electronic filing for up to 5 federal returns and it creates both my federal (whichever form is appropriate) and my state form. I've used H&R software for 4 years now for my whole family and we all get great refunds!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

No one to call about questions with the program

I discovered a quirk in the calculation on one of the forms. I had several 1099-R’s that the program applied the same criteria for even though I entered different data. There is no one to contact with questions about their program unless you pay the additional fee. It took me several days to unravel what was happenening.I have have used the Block program for my years and been happy except for the fact they do not download financial data from J.P. Morgan and Chase. I think next year I will spend the extra money and try Turbo Tax.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents

All normal tax forms and functions continue to operate perfectly and are easy to understand from the interview. The filling in of 1099-Bs and the K-1 Estates and Trusts forms are not so easy and I would appreciate updating these instructions to be clearer.
