I have used this software for years and the first time I have to call with a question, their message says, 'hi call volume, we are unable to help you. Goodbye " there is no help or explanation or support on what the submission screen should look like when you want to pay in installments. Simply showing you are paying the full amount and asks for debit card.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Still a Form 2441 bug in 2019

If you are divorced, and alternate dependents, the program thankfully keeps all of your dependents information in the system. However, even if you have otherwise qualifying children properly listed as NOT dependents in the program, they still are put on the Form 2441 and your return gets rejected if your ex has already submitted their return. You have to remember to actually remove nondependents to get it to go through. Please fix.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

If there is a glitch, your lost

The program deleted state e-filing checks when an IRS fail, resulted in no processing of a prior year’s return and agi was rejected. After submitting the federal again and acceptance, the state return evaporated. Major program defect!!
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enjoyable tax experience

The H&R Block software was easy to use and thorough. It was actually a pleasure to complete mytaxes this year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Unhelpful and wasn’t able to get my taxes done with this product. Will never do it with them again.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I'm not able to take the Section 199A deduction with this software and the Help functions are useless for this purpose. The Review screen that they sent me doesn't function properly either.
