Federal was great. State was lousy.

State told me I owed $800 when I knew that I had zero adjusted income and my wife had just over $4000. I redid state using different software and I came out owing zero. Big difference between $800 and zero.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unusable with large hi-res screen

The program is completely unscalable and forms do not scale fonts properly.
As a result, on my 42 inch monitor, the program fonts are so small that they are hardly readable and forms show lines over each other making them unreadable. On forms, some fields are outside the view and not accessible. This is the only program I cannot scale to correct size. I used Magnifier to circumvent some of these shortcomings.

software bugs

There were some bugs with the software. Mainly telling me there are issues but won't show me where and won't let me proceed with finishing e-file.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really excellent format of questions and answers to process my tax return as I input my data. Then after completing my tax return, to have the tax return audited by the program and assisting me in making any needed changes before submission is great!
Pros: Easy to prepare

I bought this some hours ago and it was so simple to use! The program located all my deductions and credits. I would definitely purchase again :-)

Fed & State printed returns

Overall happy with the software. Instructions are fairly easy to follow and explanations are understandable. My only complaint is that when printing returns (not in pdf format), the instruction page is immediately followed By the first page of the tax return. This results in the first page being printed on the back side of the instruction page. My suggestion (as a Technical Writer) Is that you start the first page of the return on an odd page. This will cause the return to print on a sheet separate from your instructions, making it easier to separate the instructions from the return when mailing.
