A Great product.

I have used the H& R Block Deluxe for a few years and like the product alot better the Turbo Tax. the only problem I have with it is there is no way to make the print lager.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Stuck in Pending Status

I filed my Federal return on Feburary 9th and it has been in pending status all this time. That is over five months.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using H&R Block Software for many years now an have never had a problem with the program. GREAT PRODUCT!!!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

No info on QCD

I searched and searched for the place to input the information for a Qualified Charitable Distribution from an IRA and never did find it. All I got for clicking on the topic in FAQ was a referral to a couple of IRS forms. Have always used your software; I hope I don't have this problem next year, or I will have to consider changing.

Still a tedious process, and I don't know anybody who like to do their own taxes, but H&R makes it much easier.

Good, but not Perfect

One problem I found with the state form for Iowa, was this. You told me to look for the school and EMS surtax on line 52 when it was actually on line 54. Also, I dislike the fact that the calculation for my Iowa auto deduction is not integrated into the federal software; I have to complete the Iowa tax form, the go back and add that information to the federal form.

User for 10 years plus - no e-file this year because tax cut could not handle form 8995-a. Don't want to go to post office due to covid, but must. Will give tax cut next year 2nd chance

At least 3 years in a row with this product. It seems to be getting better every year. Some of the pdf downloads were incomplete but editing those best inputting from scratch. Will definitely use them again next year.
