Federal Tax preparation software is very good, quite happy with it, would have given 5 stars. BUT... The planning software is not very good, actually really bad, so took away a star for that.

Use the disk. A very reliable comfortable to use package. I tried the online version this year and was very disappointed in it. The online version kept locking up and was no where near as friendly as the downloaded version. Have been using the download product for about 10 years and I can get through it in just a couple of hours.

Does not give insight just asks questions and when you have a job standard situation directions are print form, complete it and mail return. For the price of software not acceptable. I have been using for many years and it has not advanced or improved and price continues to go up. May move to new package next year. Too comfortable that you have customers locked up and have not advanced the product.
