I had not used tax software before, but I thought I'd give it a try. After procrastinating for weeks and feeling a little intimidated, I plunged in. I was surprised that I actually enjoyed the process! After all these years (I'm 79), I wish I'd saved the big fees that my accountants have charged me. And next year, I'll eagerly start sooner.

I have used the tax program since 1996. I feel I get a fair refund. I makes this hated annual job very easy. Usually takes less than four hours after I get everything together for the federal and state returns to complete.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

This is the 1st time I was not able to e-file state, It was very hard to figure out why, and I hope I'm not being charge for this. What a disappointment.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Made tax preparation and filing easy

I have been using this product ever year since the tax cut days and I am always very pleased with the software and the outcome. As time passes, my tax filing situation has increased in complexity but the software has made tax preparation relatively hassle free and I am able to accomplish everything in a few hours. They walk you through everything step by step, with their guides and interviews, which you can skip for anything that you are comfortable with, but I still use to ensure that I am doing everything right. The 2019 program made my tax filing easy.
