It is simple to use if you have your materials organized. It is very constant year to year. Your options on filing, paying, or obtaining your refund are clearly laid out and explained. The “free” state program is valued and simple to add on to make the tax filing process easy.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Good luck if you want to do anything other than follow the wizard. Also, the software gets in a loop where you can't get past the accuracy check because of a form used to calculate quarterly payments (which I told it not to do). If you delete the form, the check runs again and the form remains! Same bug in last year's version - fix it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have been using the package for many years. Tried doing it with the on line version this year. Very disappointed it locked up on me several times. So, I got the disc. And, in a couple of hours I was finished with the state and fed returns and they are filed. yeah.
