I bought this about 6 weeks ago, finally got around to using it and boy was I impressed. It is very user friendly, and quick. I love the fact that my voice recognition software work seamlessly with it and it is very quick and accurate. I would highly recommend this tax software.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Imported data several times. i had to spend a lot of time eliminating duplicates entries. Go to forms is not very well designed. it's still better than your competitors but not by much.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

For the money we should get 1 free state filing as well. Also more details about energy credits/deductibles as well.

Well designed, thorough, and easy to use. My go to program for many years. While you can use a "free" web based tax program, do you really want all that personal information floating in the cloud? I'll invest a little cash for my privacy, please.

I don't have overly complicated taxes; maybe a bit more complicated than average person with some investments, HSA, basic deductions; but no need for things that might simplify for things like self employment, kids, health, alt min tax, etc.
Pros:
- 5 e-filings allow me to do my,and some senior families forms
- Consistent user experience year to year
- Imports are a snap

- Don't like how I have to keep saying "NO!" to do I want State income tax forms. Once I say I
don't need it stop wasting my time asking over and over again.
- not intuitive on how to find/edit previous reponses; can get there but takes a few clicks
- wish more Investment firms, Banks, and employers were available when doing searches for 1099s, W2s, and such
