I've used H&R Block tax software for over a decade and found it to be easy to use with results acceptable to me, the IRS, and state of California. I would give it 5 stars but it remains confusing to me when executing the review ptocess - the app finds areas of concern then shows the actual tax forms or worksheets with questionable items highlighted which is good. The questions asked or suggestions offered are insufficient in my opinion. Until we've arrived at this point in the process we've been in a query/dialog entry activity but now specific form-fills are exposed for the first time; this needs more explanation. Eventially I'm able to stumble through and straighten out the problems. Other than this minor difficulty I continue to be satisfied with their tax software.

I've been using for years, love the simplicity! Once you've gathered all the documentation, you can pretty much complete it in one sitting.

My return was rejected and I did not get an email for that! It would have been nice to be alerted! My stimulus check was held up due to that delay of not knowing of rejection.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
