I am 70 years old and like to use better size font to clearly see numbers and text. Software does not allow to zoom or change font size. It was really difficult to use it. Have to get help for someone to read and enter information.

I have used Block software since i worked for them 15 + years ago. It is an easy and thorough interview that covers every possiblity of your tax situation. You only need the internet for updates each time you load the program and finally to send your return. So your connect will not slow you down like online websites and your data is much more secure.

Seems to me that Basic edition was better than the Deluxe regarding clarity of instructions. I have been using basic for 10+ years and this was first time I used Deluxe. Some areas are flat out incorrect, such as child care credits only allow for a child, and not a dependent such as an elderly parent (IRS instructions and competitors handle this much better, it was correct last year in the Basic edition also). When I wanted this clarified I could not get a hold of H&R thru email, phone, or Chat. Totally unacceptable.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
